I Think We Need Something Like This!

I have to say, in my opinion, the hardest part of being a mom, is being a working mom. There is just so much that goes along with it. The mom guilt is killer. Not to mention, finding childcare, working your schedule around your kid's schedule, etc. Not to mention, what do you do when they are sick? Or they have a field trip that you really want to go to? Especially when you can't really afford to take off work? It's never ending! 

I recently came across this great site for working moms in the UK. The site is http://www.workingmums.co.uk/  

and I really wish we had something like this in the USA. Do we, and I am just missing it? This is a great site, that not only allows working moms to find jobs, connect and network, but also offers career and family advice and support, interview and job search tips, etc. I mean really, how great to find all of this in one place! 

I would love to have something like this here in my state. Sometimes being a working mom is so all-consuming, it can really get me down and cause me to second guess all the decisions that I was so sure about! I am really happy that working moms in the UK have a great resource like this to help them out!

Do any of you American moms know of a resource like this for us?

Fall Fashion: Time for Comfy Jammies!

One of my favorite things about Fall is breaking out the warm, cozy jammies! I love sweatpants, and hoodies, fuzzy slippers and bathrobes. I just can't get enough of them! It doesn't matter if I am laying on the couch watching a good movie, or outside at a bonfire or pumpkin patch, you can always find me in my "Fall Fuzzies" as soon as the leaves start to change! 

I am looking to branch out this year and expand my cozy wardrobe. I have been thinking about getting some dressing gowns, like the one pictured above. I love how it is cozy, but still sexy. The same can not be said about my men's $5.00 sweatpants! I have also been wanting to get some long nightgowns. They are so cute, I can just picture myself wearing some sweater socks and drinking a hot chocolate when I see something like this: 

Ahh! It always makes me think of Christmas for some reason.. Sitting around in one of these watching the babies open gifts.. I just can't wait for the holidays! I'm curious to know, do you guys have special jammies for Fall and Winter, or do you just wear the same things year round? I love my flannels, my sweatpants, my hoodies! I do really love Summer and flip flops and hot weather too, but it always makes it a little easier to say goodbye when you have such great stuff to look forward to!

Healthy Smiles with Reach And Rembrandt!

I don't know about your house, but here, toothbrushing (okay, any hygiene in general) is NOT on my boys' list of favorite things to do!

I am always looking for something, anything, to pep them up a little, to make these dreaded tasks just a little more fun!

Recently, we got to review a giant package from Reach and Rembrandt featuring some great oral health products for the whole family! We were all really excited to get some new cool stuff around here to make tooth brushing a little more inticing!

We received one of these really cool toothbrushes and it went to Tater. Because, well, he picked it. And also because it was green. The bristles on this toothbrush were soft, which is perfect for Tater. He also likes that the whole toothbrush is kind of rubberized.. it really feels pretty cool. Aren't they cute!? We received a two pack of these, one for dad and one for me! They are awesome! I really like how Reach has taken something as boring as a regular old toothbrush and jazzed it up like this! These brushes have the multi level bristles, so they are good at cleaning in between teeth and behind back teeth. And all the designs are limited edition, which makes collecting them fun and exciting every time you need a new brush! Love it!

The next product we got to try was Reach Total Care plus Whitening Floss.

Tater was exceptionally excited that they make floss that is purple. (He lives a deprived life, I know!) This made him much more excited to floss than usual. He hates flossing and it is usually a big fight to get it done! This floss is designed not to shred, which is a definite plus. It is also designed to get up to twice as much plaque as regular floss. Which means, less time flossing! #Win!

Next, Dad and I got to try some Rembrandt Whitening products. We have looked at these before but never had the extra money to spend on them, so we were super excited to get to review them!
 

 

Dad got to review the Two Hour Whitening Kit. He was really impressed with the results! This kit comes with dentist like trays to make the experience just like a professional one! Dad wasn't fond of the taste, but we can really tell a difference after using this kit! 

We were also lucky enough to get to review Rembrandt Deeply White toothpaste. I have been seeing commercials for this the last couple weeks and have been really excited about trying it! The taste is really good! I was a little nervous since it is a whitening toothpaste and all, but I was pleasantly surprised! The peroxide makes kind of a bubbly feeling in your mouth, like you can feel it getting your teeth cleaner! I really liked it! 

We really enjoyed trying all these Reach and Rembrandt products! I think we will all be a little more motivated to brush and floss with all our cool new goodies!
