Xoom Xoom Xoom! The Motorola Xoom for Verizon Wireless has changed me!

When Verizon Wireless contacted me about reviewing a Motorola Xoom Tablet PC, I was a bit hesitant.

Whoa, am I ready for this?

The girl who can (barely) text, who knows just enough computer stuff to post on this blog and that's about it....

Would I be able to handle it?

Oh, friends.

Handle it I did!

Just call me your "mobile blogger!"
(Ok, well don't call me that anymore, because now I am back to being your stationary blogger, but for awhile I was mobile!)

Let's get down to business and talk about this bad boy.

The screen, oh the glorious screen!

It's 10.1 inches of magnificent crystal clear beauty. It's perfect no matter what task you are doing, blogging, playing games, updating your Facebook, looking at photos... It's just perfect!

I really was surprised at how thin the Xoom was, in comparison to how big the screen was. I just thought for some reason that it would be bulky, or heavy, but I was dead wrong.

The Motorola Xoom is the first device on Android's Honeycomb 3.1 operating system, which is designed specifically for tablets. It also has a dual core processor which = fast fast fast!

My hubby was really excited that the Xoom has HDMI output, which means you can display content on larger HD screens such as TV's. I must admit, that is a pretty cool feature!

The cameras were my favorite part, they always are! The Xoom features a front facing camera that is 2 mega pixels for video chats, etc.. and a 5 mega pixel rear facing camera that includes flash. It is also a great way to take videos!

The Xoom was great for "work" too. ( I still have a hard time calling my blog work... it's just too fun!) The constant connectivity was great! I love being able to check my Gmail and calender at the touch of the screen. The mobile hotspot was also a great feature, to help us all stay connected at the same time!

I must say, all in all, I was extremely impressed with the Xoom tablet. I wasn't sure how I would feel about it, but I was really happy with it! I also hear that there are some great apps for teaching kids and babies, but since I had to return the Xoom to Verizon, my kids weren't allowed to be in the same room with it, for fear they would break something!

A big thanks to my friends at Verizon Wireless for making it possible for me to get a taste of this awesome tablet! Now the Xoom is without a doubt, at the top of my wish list!
