If you have been following my blog for the last few weeks, you should know by now that I am really excited to be working with Verizon Wireless!
Now, let me be honest, I have never been too crazy about phones or other technological gadgets.. I mean, if it's a phone, and makes phone calls, I am pretty much okay with that. My husband is the tech-crazy guy around here. All the newest technology, he has to have it! As for me, that's never really been my thing... Well, until now...
I was lucky enough to receive the HTC Thunderbolt for Verizon Wireless for review! This is the phone that has made me love smartphones!
This phone is fairly new, it's been out for a few months now...
The first thing that I have to say that you notice is the screen. It's HUGE! It's a 4.3" High Resolution screen, and the display is simply magnificent! It is so crisp and clear!
The phone itself is pretty big, but what do you expect when the screen is so big? It was really hard for me to get used to such a big phone. I was never really comfortable fitting it in my pocket, but perhaps my phone shouldn't be stored in my pocket anyways! :)
The Thunderbolt is a 4G phone, and it has one of the fastest networks EVER behind it! This is a really great phone for moms, simply because of the ability to multitask! You can check your email while joining in on a conference call! You can update your Facebook or Twitter from the main page, and upload your photos in seconds! I am ALWAYS on the go, always trying to fit everything into the teeny tiny day that I have, and multitasking is my middle name! I must say that the Thunderbolt has been a great help to me in feeling like I am getting things done!
Let's take a closer look at the Thunderbolt:
I was thoroughly impressed with all of the smart additions to this phone. It's the little details that matter, and this phone has them everywhere!
The kickstand is one of my favorite details. At first, I was like "a kickstand? what the??" But, I quickly realized that this was a great feature! It works great when you are using your phone as an alarm clock (always for me!), or when you are viewing picture slideshows or videos on your phone!
Another thing I have grown to love about this phone is the GPS! I have never owned a GPS, but gave the one on the Thunderbolt a try! I was really impressed with it! I am the world's worst for getting lost, but the Thunderbolt and the Google Voice Support for GPS kept me right on track!
I also really liked the 4G Hotspot with this phone. I am not even lying, I got faster connection speeds when using the 4G Hotspot than my home internet!
But, I must say, my favorite, favorite favorite part about this phone is the camera! The camera is 8 megapixels, and includes auto-focus. The images that I captured on this camera were just exceptional. There are tons of extra things you can do with photos on this phone, you can get really creative! I was so impressed, I have been taking SO many more pictures since I got this gorgeous phone!

All in all, I was super happy with the HTC Thunderbolt! I give it two thumbs up! It really has changed my mind about smartphones, and I know now that a phone is not just a phone! This phone, for sure, is so much more!
