** Yantra Mat Review**

Okay, as you people can tell from my previous posts, I am stressed. I am anxious. I am always fatigued. I also have headaches, backaches, foot pain, etc. So when I heard that the Yantra Mat could help with all of these, I said "Hell Yes, send me one!" Then I realized that the Yantra Mat is pretty much a bed of nails. And I was a little scared.

I took my cute little purple Yantra Mat out of it's cute little purple carrying case, and proceeded to examine it. Yup, it's pretty much a bed of spikes. I was pretty skeptical at this point, but I started reading my little guide that it came with. It says only to use it for about 10 minutes on days 1-4. Surely I can handle this. And it says I can use a pillowcase, sheet or t shirt between me and the scary spikes. I was wearing a t shirt and shorts, so I put it on the couch and sat down on it.

Now, maybe I am just tough, (heehee) but I really didn't think it hurt. Maybe if I didn't have a shirt on, but it wasn't bad. It was probably about 5 minutes after starting to sit there, that I started feeling tingly. The website says that means that my blood is circulating, and my endorphins and oxytocin hormones are getting delivered better :) That makes me happy! I used it for about 15 minutes, and then put it away. I thought I was a little crazy, but I definitely did feel a difference. I felt like I had more energy, almost immediately, kinda like I had a little more pep.

After realizing that the thing really does work, I decided to research the site more and find out everything I could. The Yantra Mat originated in Sweden and just debuted in the USA in January. The mats each have 8800 acupressure points, and have been said to alleiviate back pain, headaches, insomnia, stress, anxiety, fatigue, as well as aiding in circulation, lowering blood pressure (another plus for ME!!) and promoting meditation.

You can use it pretty much however you want. On your back, on your stomach, on your side. Use it as a pillow (haha a pillow of spikes!) to loosen tightness in the neck and jaw. Put it in your chair and use it as a seat cushion. This is the way I have used it the most, actually I am sitting on it right now! :)

I am sorry to the Yantra Mat, that I was scared of you, and doubted you in the beginning. I am now sold on the benefits of the mat, and acupressure in general. I really think this is something I could get into! It just makes me feel really peaceful and at ease. I really do like my Yantra Mat, and the babydaddy keeps asking me when he can try it! Maybe there is hope for us yet! :)

Your Favorite tiny disclosure :) I was not compensated for writing this post. I received one pretty little Yantra Mat, and that is all folks. :)
