Baby Rock Apparel Review

Okay I have a new favorite kid's brand. I know, you've heard me say  this before, but really this time! I recently got the opportunity to review a shirt for Tater from Baby Rock Apparel.

This is the one we I chose:
It is the most awesome shirt EVER! Not joking! Usually Tater wears a 4/5, but I ordered him a 6T, and it fits perfectly. I was super impressed with the quality of the shirt, too. It is the nicest shirt we have gotten in a long time. It's a little bit stretchy, and thin, it's absolutely perfect. It is made with really good quality fabric. He wore it to preschool today, and he was sooo cute!

I will most definitely be coming back to Baby Rock Apparel for the boy's Christmas presents. Look at the other stuff that I have already bookmarked to order at Christmas time:

I've never seen such cute shit all in one place! They have so much stuff for my boys, I can really see myself spending all of my Christmas budget at this one store! And, if you have girls, make sure to check out their tutus and pettiskirts. I would post a pic, but I would just get sad b/c I don't have any girls to wear them lol.

And ladies, oh ladies... get ready for this one. I can NOT believe no one has thought of this before. Take a little look:
This, my friends, is the Tinkle Tube. And it is exactly what you think it is. As described on the site, "The Tinkle Tube is simple tool that allows you to assist your little dude to go potty while out on the go during the oh so fun potty training period. You can even use it as an emergency toilet while on the go."

Are you freaking serious!?! Where was this thing, say, ah, 2 years ago? There have been umpteen million times that we have had to pull over on the side of the road to let Tater pee because he just can't hold it more than 5 seconds. I would have LOVED to have this! Not to mention shopping trips where we would have to take off all of his clothes, or proceed to have him pee everywhere in sight, all over his clothes and usually, me too! How lovely it would have been to have this!

Thank you so much Baby Rock Apparel, for letting me try your products!

Pretty Amazing Stuff.

I wanna show you guys some pretty awesome artwork I discovered recently. It's by a girl named Camilla d'Errico, and she has some super cute stuff. Check this out:

Pretty cute stuff, huh? I love artwork that is unique and different, and she definitely has that! It's a little edgy, a little unexpected, and I like that!

Camilla does tons of work for comics, and I can see why she is in high demand!
She has also done work for Hasbro Toys, Wizkids, Ride Snowboards, and Microsoft Zune, and much more. I am really loving her stuff. I now have an addition to my Christmas list!

If you wanna check out any of Camilla's super cool stuff, just click here :)

*disclosure: I was not compensated in any way for this post. I just really like this girl's artwork!

Monday Again.

Well.. It's time for...

Sippy Cups and Cloth Bums

Photobucket

I love blog hops, they are so much fun! It has been a really rough week around here, so I am glad to see a new one starting.

The Bean has bronchitis and spent 5 hours on Saturday in the ER, all so I could find out it is "viral", grrr.. He is 3 months old today, and is starting to feel better, thankfully... The truck broke down TWICE last week, different things both times, joy. Bills are due, as always, and we just can't get caught up. Sometimes I don't know if we ever will. And to top it all of, last night BD gets pulled over for expired tags, so we have til Sept 1st (Wed) to go get those without a fine. Sigh. It always seems like it comes in spurts, so maybe our run of crappy things happening to us will be about over. I certainly hope so bc I don't know how much more I can handle. Sigh.

I look forward to making new friends today from these hops! Just leave a comment here and I will make sure to follow you back ! If you are new here, make sure to check the right sidebar for all my current giveaways! Most have very low entries so your chances are pretty good! Happy Monday!

I really like funny tshirts. Okay, funny and offensive shirts. So when I discovered Roadkill tee shirts, I knew we were a match made in heaven! They have some great t shirts, really really funny t shirts at that!

I was sent a random shirt to review. This made me a little nervous, but the one I ended up getting was pretty cute:
It's not really the perfect shirt for me, but I have a niece that I think will love it! The shirt is a really nice quality, and the design looks great. I washed the shirt, and the black didn't fade at all. I am very pleased with this shirt.

They have SOOO many t shirts, you can't possibly understand! I will show you some of my faves:

Ahhh!! Aren't they great!?!? I want em all! When I finally decide to buy some new clothes, this is def where I'm coming!
Roadkill Tee Shirts also has American Apparel shirts now! I love American Apparel shirts, since they are softer and have a smaller, more narrow fit than regular shirts.

Thanks Roadkill Tee shirts, for the awesome shirt!

Pureology Review

I love Pureology products, so when they gave me the chance to review their new Super Smooth Relaxing Serum, I jumped at it!

I have very thick, frizz-prone hair, so I was very excited to try this. First of all, the bottle is a very generous size, and the stuff smells great! It's made with Geranium extract, and also includes sesame and shea butter, so you can imagine how nice it smells!

The Relaxing Serum also includes the new Thermal Anti Fade Complex, which protects your hair from heat styling, and helps to prevent your color from fading. Both of those are pretty important things to me!

It's so easy to use, you just apply to damp hair, and heat style as usual. I could definitely tell a difference after using this product the first time. My hair was much smoother, not to mention way soft. I had fewer flyaways, and less frizz. I give it a giant thumbs up!

Pureology actually has an entire Super Smooth Collection which includes shampoo, conditioner, smoothing elixir, hair masque, creme, and relaxing serum. So whichever type of product you prefer, they have one for you!

Get Your Own! To find your own perfect hair care products from Pureology's extensive collection, simply click here.

Thanks Pureology for the chance to try this great new product!

CLOSED:Stride Everyday Review & Giveaway

Okay, so y'all know The Bean is a big boy. I remember when I was pregnant with him, having lots of "leaks" since his big ass was ALWAYS sitting on my bladder. When I would cough, or laugh, shew, even worse! I wish I would have found this product when I was pregnant.

These are Stride Everyday panties. They are panties that have a pantyliner built in! Seriously. And they are not ugly, not granny-ish, cute even! They come in 5 different styles, and a wide variety of prints and colors. I was a little leery of these at first, but now that I have received them, I am very impressed. They aren't at all what I was expecting, they are actually pretty stylish!

Stride is featured as an editor's pick in this month's Shape Magazine!
You can just throw them in the washer with everything else, and wear them again. Like I said, I really wish I would have found these when I was pregnant both times, they would have been a lifesaver!

One Bath And Body Review

I was recently sent some products to review from One Bath & Body. I was very interested in their products because not only do they make natural, eco-friendly beauty products, they also use recyclable, plastic free packaging. I was totatlly intrigued to see what they had to offer.

I received a lip balm & a bath fizzer to review. I tried the Lip Butter Balm right away. It was very creamy, and went on smooth. I like how it made my lips soft, and they stayed that way for a long time. It didn't wear off right away like some lip balms. The Shea My Lips smelled a little weird, kind of powdery (BD says like a baby's butt), but it really grew on me and I like it a lot now!
I loved the bath fizzer ! You can use the whole thing, or only half of it! They smell great, and they set a great atmosphere. It was a great little retreat for me! Any time I get to take a nice long bath is really a treat, and this made it even better! I really like these products!

They have so many other products too! I would really like to try the solid shampoo! I've never seen anything like it, it looks really cool!

Thanks, One Bath & Body for letting me try these awesome products!

Worst Household Chores. Ever.

So after my reviews for Seventh Generation and Simple Green Naturals, I felt compelled to write this post. And so now I shall list the worst household chores. ever.

1)    Cleaning out the fridge. Why is the shit in there always so nasty? Are we really as digusting as the fridge makes us out to be?

2)    Ceiling fans. Really? I hate you. Enough said.

3)    Cobwebs. Do I look like I have time to dust corners of the ceiling? Please.

4)    Putting things away: dishes, laundry, groceries. You all suck equally.

5)    The never-ending-piss-around-the-toilet. Thank you, God, for blessing me with all these boys. Really, I mean it.

6)    Yardwork. My husband always finds reasons to procrastinate you, and I haven't yet figured out a way to mow and weedeat an acre with an 8 week old strapped to my hip and a 4 year old running after me. So please, go away.

What is your least favorite of all household chores? Let's bitch about it together!

CLOSED:Simple Green Naturals Review and Giveaway!!

Look at the plethora of products I received from the wonderful people at Simple Green! I was delighted to have a chance to try their ENTIRE line of Simple Green Naturals Products. Y'all know I am always looking for better, and lately, more natural, cleaning products, so this was right up my alley. Plus, my family is a bunch of hogs, so they gave me plenty of review opportunities!

The first product I tried was the dishwashing liquid. I suck, and I don't have a dishwasher, so I am constantly washing dishes. I really hate washing dishes. But I did like the dish liquid from Simple Green. I didn't need to use a bunch of it to fill the sink with suds. Plus it smells really good. It did a great job of cleaning my dishes. Definitely as good as my "whatever with bleach alternative" I was using!

Tater is a big fan of the hand soap. He is in some weird phase of constant handwashing, so he was the main tester of the soap. His hands were not dry and flaky like they usually are when he keeps washing them, so that was a good thing. It was definitely a Tater Pleaser.

The Rosemary Mint Bathroom Cleaner was probably my favorite of them all. I love the scent, and it worked really well in my nasty boy covered bathroom. I hate the way other cleaners smell, like the bubbly kind, it makes me feel like I am choking, but this one didn't do that! Very impressive.

The floor care cleaner was also a great one for me. I mean come on, how can you not LOVE a cleaner whose purpose is to keep you from having to break out the mop & bucket. You are def a friend of mine! You just spray it on the dirty parts of the floor, and damp mop off... Genius! :)

We also got to try the glass cleaner. It was nice because it doesn't contain ammonia. I really liked it because it didn't leave streaks. I haven't gotten to try the carpet cleaner yet, but that is my project for the morning! :)

All in all, we were very impressed with the cleaning power of Simple Green Naturals. I was a little wary of how well natural cleaners would work, but they have proven themselves to me now! Thumbs up to Simple Green!

The sweethearts at Simple Green are giving one lucky Flip Out Mama reader an ENTIRE 7 PIECE CLEANING KIT just like the one I received for review!

* I would also like to throw this out there to all my bloggy friends: If you ever have the chance to work with Miss Denise from Simple Green, you should definitely take it! She is one of the sweetest people I have "met" since I started blogging, and she will def take good care of you!

Tiniest of all disclosures: I received cleaning products to facilitate my review. no other compensation was received.. I'm not that kind of girl!

Green Toys Review!

I recently discovered the most awesome toys ever! The company is called Green Toys Inc, and they make toys from 100% recycled materials. Most are made totally from plastic milk jugs, just like the kind we drink out of every day... Unbelievable that your "trash" can be turned into something so cool!  I also love that they toys are made with 100% recycled cardboard packaging. Sooo much easier to open than all that plastic crap!

Here's the two items we were sent to review:

The baby stacker and the tug boat. They are both really excellent quality, and I swear I would never think they are made from milk jugs. They are sturdy, durable, and strong. They are brightly colored, and don't seem "cheap" or anything. I gave Tater the tugboat to play with in the bath, and he was in heaven! He isn't used to toys that don't "do" anything, so I was very pleasantly surprised when he played for 30 minutes with the tugboat. The Bean is still a little small for the baby stacker, but it is on his shelf ready and waiting. I really like these toys, and I am proud to have them. I have shown them to everyone and said "guess what these are made of!?!?!" They are quite impressive!

Look at the awesome Fire Truck that Green Toys is introducing to it's collection!
This is definitely on Tater's Christmas list now! I love it! But that is not even close to all the toys that Green Toys has. Take a look at some of my other favorites:

I am in loooove with Green Toys! And you will be too!! If you would like more info on Green Toys, simply click here!
