Going Back To School

Most of you know that I have been trying to go back to school for awhile now. I don't really like the fact that I dropped out of college after only one semester. Then, a husband, and two babies later, it is much harder to go back than I ever anticipated. I mean, I only want to do something close to home, it's not like I want to go to colorado business school or anything.

There are a ton of reasons why I want to go back to school. First of all, I want to be able to have a job that makes more money. I want to be able to have a job that my kids are proud of me for. I want them to see that I succeeded in life and that I didn't give up. I don't want them to think that quitting is okay. I would love to continue learning, I have always been a "school" type of girl, and I love learning new things. I really just want to do something my kids can be proud of.

Going back to school when you are a grown up is not a piece of cake. It is hard, way harder than you would think. First of all you have to make the sacrifice to do whatever it takes to go back to school. If you are already working, it can mean cutting back your hours, which can even mean less money. You have to find childcare, especially if you are like me and are already a stay at home mom. That means I will have to pay for daycare, or my hubby will have to take time off of work. You also have to make the commitment to study, work hard, and meet your goals. It's not as easy as it looks!

I am still working towards my goal of going back to school. It IS a lot of work, and I am still getting my ducks in a row, but I am working on it. I know that once I do go back to school, I will be proud of myself and my boys will be proud of me. And, that is enough to make me do any work that it takes!

This has been a sponsored post, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own!
