Retired and Moving

I never thought that I would ever live in a place made famous by a television show, but my husband and I move to the “O.C.” ( Orange County, California) recently. We actually moved to a town called Costa Mesa. We moved from Northern California after we retired last year. We just decided that we wanted to go somewhere new and different. We found a great house ( downsized). It is much smaller than our last house, but so much easier to keep clean. It isn’t really that small, because we still expect our children and grandchildren to visit. It has four bedrooms and five bathrooms. We made a few improvements when we moved in. I had always wanted a pool. I found a great pool architect and we added one that makes me feel like I am at a desert oasis. I also called Home security costa mesa and got an alarm system put in. My husband travels sometimes and it makes me feel so much safer. We love our new place and I don’t plan on moving anytime soon.
