Military Wife: A Guest Post from Natalie Walter

Being a military wife is hard but I think it’s the most difficult on my children. I didn’t grow up in a military family so sometimes I don’t really know what to tell them when they say they miss daddy or ask when he’s coming home. He’s been deployed 30 out of the last 36 months and though I know he’s doing a great service for the country sometimes I feel like it’s my family that suffers. Just a year ago his base got switched so now we’re here in Arkansas starting all over again. The women have been really nice (one told me about http://www.satelliteinternetbroadband.com/hughesnet/Arkansas/ for internet) and the accommodations are just as good as they were in Texas but I can’t help but miss it since it’s home and where we started our married life. The kids seem to be adjusting, too, and I’m really thankful they’ve got a good school but I hope their lives don’t have to be uprooted any more in the next years to come.
