Germ Guardian: You Humidified Me When I Was Down.

I really don't ever remember being as sick as I have been the last two weeks.

I mean ever. Really. It has been horrible.

As you can imagine, I was totally behind on reviews and all things blogging.

Hell, I was behind on all things life.

I had a little help from my friends at Germ Guardian to try to put me back together, and I am forever grateful!

It was almost like the fine folks at Germ Guardian had ESP or something. I received the Germ Guardian Ultrasonic 55 Hour Humidifier somewhere around the middle of February, right smack in the middle of the Baby Shower Bash and having my tooth carved out of my skull while I screamed in agony  pulled.

I sat the box on the counter (you know the one, the counter. Where all those bills, school papers, things to return, coupons, blog things, etc get laid and covered up and never get seen again? That's the one. ) and planned to do my review in the next couple of days.

Fast forward two weeks, laying on the couch during I believe it was day 6,430  ten of my agony, when I remembered, "that damn humidifier!"

I was so embarrassed that I had yet to do my review, but also so grateful that it was there and could possibly help me breathe!

This bad boy, is the Germ Guardian H1500 Ultrasonic 55 Hour Humidifier. Doesn't it just look awesome?

That's because it IS awesome.

The one problem that we have had with humidifiers in the past is that the water gets moldy, stinky and slimy in the tank. When this happens, I don't want to touch them anymore, much less use them. That's where the H1500 is different than other humidifiers.

It has Silver Clean technology embedded in the tank to fight mold and mildew growth in the tank. Right off the top, that made me feel better about using this particular humidifier.

I also liked the fact that the H1500 can run for up to 55 hours on the cold/low setting. Even on the warm/high setting, it can run for up to 18 hours. My concern is always that it will run out of water while my kids are asleep, so the 18/55 hour thing is definitely a plus!

I was really impressed with this humidifier. I love the fact that it has the push-button nightlight, which is a cool blue glow. Not too bright, but not too dim, it was perfect for the boys' room! The H1500 really is sleek and classy looking for a humidifier, which I thought was awesome too. I could actually leave it in the boys' room all the time and not worry about it looking super tacky.

I love how easy to use the H1500 ended up being. I mean, I was like horribly sick, and I still found it easy to use. All you do is pop the tank off, fill with water, screw the lid back on, and pop it back on the top. Super easy. Another thing I really liked about this humidifier is that there is a low water indicator light, so I didn't have to keep going in the boys' room a thousand times during the night to check and see if it needed more water. I could just open the door and look to see if the indicator light was on or not. That was really a nice feature, not having to go in, turn on the light, and examine the tank in the middle of the night.

The H1500 was also super quiet, thanks to the Ultrasonic technology that it uses. This was a nice touch, especially considering that it was being used in a kids room, I was kind of worried about it keeping them up at night. But, it barely made a sound, and really did end up helping them sleep better.

I am really grateful to Germ Guardian for letting me try this product, and at such a great time! I really enjoyed using it while I was under the weather, and I am now using it in the boys' room. I would definitely recommend this humidifier to anyone who is in the market for one. It really is a top of the line product from people who really do know what they are doing when it comes to this kind of product!
