Ohhh, you guys... I am swooning. I wish I had a recent picture of myself swooning, but alas, I do not. So, look at these, and think of me swooning.
Okay, so that last one is a swan, but whatever. You get the point.
I recently got the opportunity to review some extremely gorgeous dinnerware from Oneida. Now, I have heard of Oneida before, but I usually think of them for their beautiful flatware. I was very surprised to learn that they have so much more!
There's the Sassafras line, full of children's baking and cooking products:
And look at these Margarita Glasses! You know Mama likes these ;)
They even have some really gorgeous holiday items!
But anyways, back to the dinnerware. Geez, focus.
Oh, it's so lovely.
That color, in case your wondering, is called Porcini.
Here's what the Oneida website says about the Culinaria line:
These are by far the best dishes I have ever owned. I love them. Really. The mugs are like twice the size of the cheap crappy mugs of old, and I can actually drink a cup of coffee instead of two sips of coffee. Everything is very heavy, and sturdy. But don't confuse heavy with bulky or clunky, because that they are not.I haven't used them very much yet, but I washed them all, and I have made a couple of meals on them, and drank a few cups of coffee. And, so far, no chips or cracks. They are holding up very well, just as I suspected! I also love the Porcini color. I was worried that it would be too bland, but it is perfect! I have never really paid attention to the color of my dishes, I mean along the lines of food presentation and such, but since I have been using these, I have noticed that my food just plain looks better on them. And that is a definite plus for this mama! My food needs all the help it can get! I know that this set will last a long time. I am so excited to get rid of our crappy old dinnerware, a $10 clearance Walmart set, and replace it with this set! There is also a square version available, which is every bit as gorgeous as the round:
I'm trying really hard not to be biased though, so I want to make sure you guys get to see all the colors of the Culinaria line:
ala mode |
blue peppercorn |
blue sage |
chili |
cocoa |
pound cake |
tarragon |
Aren't they all so pretty!?
A BIG thanks to Oneida for letting my try this wonderful dinnerware set!
