Review And GIVEAWAY!! Water Color Canvas Art Kits from Faber Castell

We are not artsy people around here. That is for sure. I would love to be, I've tried to be, but I'm just not. My idea of arts & crafts with Tater is giving him some playdough... Or coloring books and crayons. I suck, I know. 

But now, the people at Faber Castell are making it easier to be "artsy" for folks like me. In addition to their awesome line of kid's art products, they also have some awesome adult craft products too! 

I had the chance to review one of their Watercolor Canvas Art Kits. I was a little nervous about this, since, I've pretty much messed up every art project since 3rd grade art class. (Don't ask about my clay bowl lol) But, it really wasn't bad! 

Each Kit includes preprinted canvas surfaces for you to use. They also send you these awesome "paint pencils", which are called aquarelle pencils.  You simply color in the picture with the pencils provided, and then use a wet brush to blend the colors, making them any shade you want. It's really pretty cool! The kit also includes foam boards and ribbon to hang your art when you're done. Everything you need, it's all there! 

What Mama Thinks: I reviewed the Circles and Swirls kit. I really liked doing it, it was a lot of fun. It did make me nervous, but I think that's just my own aversion to creativity and nothing to do with the kit itself. I am glad I tried it though, it was fun to do something different like that! I am not going to post a pic of my finished piece, cause, well, I'm afraid y'all will think it's ugly lol. But trust me, it was a lot of fun, and easy to do! They have so many other varieties of kits, there really is something for everyone, no matter what you're into. I think these would make a great gift. I am actually thinking about getting a couple for my neices for Christmas. But, shh, don't tell! :)
