Mavea Water Pitcher Review and Giveaway (FIVE Winners!)

So we've talked about my bottled water dependency issues before. I am still trying super hard to cut it out once and for all, but it is SO hard. I think I have found another helper in my fight.

This is the Elemaris XL pitcher from Mavea Water Filtration Pitchers. Isn't it a classy gal?

I was SO excited to try this water pitcher! I can't STAND our regular tap water, it is really gross. So therefore in lies my addiction to bottled water. I was so excited about trying this pitcher, since taste is one of Mavea's main focal points. Mavea pitchers help to remove chlorine taste and odor, which also helps to make the water clearer.

From the site:

"Mavea filtered water:
  • Makes great-tasting drinking water and beverages including, coffee and tea. Even your ice cubes look and taste better.
  • Makes coffee and tea develop their full flavor
  • Increases the life span of domestic appliances by reducing limescale build up"
Now who doesn't like the sound of that!?
The filtering process only takes one minute, and you don't have to change the cartridge that often, about every 2 months or so. The pitcher is equipped with a SmartMeter that tells you exactly when you need to change the cartridge, so there is no guesswork! Love it!

If you are wondering how the filter cartridge works, I will tell you:

From the site:
"How does the filter cartridge work? The filter works in four easy steps:

Step 1: Intensive Pre-Filtration:
The water flows through a fine mesh filter.

Step 2: Ion Exchange Filtration: The ion exchange resin reduces lime scale (carbonate hardness), cadmium, copper, and mercury.

Step 3: Activated Carbon Filtration:
The activated carbon significantly reduces substances that affect smell and taste such as chlorine, benzene, tetrachloroethylene, atrazine, and simazine.

Step 4: Intensive Final Filtration:
The special fine mesh filter retains the particle mixture."

*What Mama Thinks:*

I LOVE my new Mavea water pitcher! The water tastes really good, very clean. I haven't had bottled water in about a week, and I feel so great about that! I love the look of the pitcher too, it's very sleek and classy. Thumbs up to Mavea and their fancy pitcher! Thanks Yall!

The sweet angels over at Mavea, are going to give away FIVE, yep that's right FIVE Mavea Water Pitchers, to some lucky ducky Flip Out Mama readers.
