Inspired By Finn Necklace Review and GIVEAWAY!

So maybe I just live in a hole, but I had never heard of "teething jewelry" until a few weeks ago. I was very intrigued and since then have learned much more about it than I knew even existed! 

I am not an expert by any means, but here is what I have learned so far: 

Baltic Amber is a fossilized tree resin that is known for its "healing" properties. When the Amber is worn on the skin, the skins warmth helps to release the healing oils from the Amber, helping you to feel better. The Amber can not be set in a metal setting because it must come into direct contact with the skin for it to work. 

Amber necklaces have been used for many years to help with many ailments and pains, including teething. The baby can wear the necklace around their neck, or the mother can wear the necklace while carrying the child, sharing the benefits of the Amber. (Of course, it is recommended that babies only wear the necklace while in direct and constant supervision of their caretaker, and that the necklace be removed, or moved to the ankle and placed under a sock, when the baby falls asleep.)

Baltic Amber has been a proven analgesic for many many years and can help with all kind of pain. I have heard that it is commonly used for headaches, PMS, arthritis, carpal tunnel syndrome, heartburn, constipation, even chemo!

What Mama Thinks: I love this idea, anything that doesn't require me to dope my kids up on over the counter drugs is something I am willing to try.
