Feed The Moe-ment with Moe's! Plus $25 Gift Card Giveaway!

Well, by now you all should know that Mama likes to eat. 

And when Mama doesn't have to be the one cooking, that's even better! 

So when we got the chance recently to try Moe's Southwest Grill, I was more than excited for the opportunity! 

Moe's is a really great restaurant with a great atmosphere! It's fun, funky and casual, all of the things I like in a restaurant! 

As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a loud "Welcome To Moes!" by all of the employees. 

They have tons of great menu items, such as nachos, burritos, quesadillas, tacos, salads, rice bowls, etc. All of these items have funny and weird names, like the Homewrecker Burrito, and the Moo Moo Mr. Cow Kid's Meal. Love it! 

I also really liked the atmosphere at Moe's! The decor is funky and bright, and music is the main focal point. All the music that you will hear at Moe's is music from musicians that have passed away. We heard Barry White, Johnny Cash, Michael Jackson and many more while we were there. 

Okay, on to the food!  Moe's is on a food mission, and I am here to tell you about it!

Moe's is a really responsible company when it comes to the food that they serve their customers. I was really impressed when I found out all of the options that they offer. 

They have a ton of healthy choices, no matter what is right for you! 

Moe's is very focused on sustainability. It is super important for them to be able to meet the needs of current generations with the least effect possible on future generations. There are tons of ways that they are reducing their enviromental impact, from the grass-fed steak and grain-fed pork they use, to the local produce they use, even the yummy organic tofu they use as an alternative to meat!

Moe's also realizes that more and more Americans are embracing a gluten free diet. They have specifically altered their menu to serve this growing population. They have over twenty gluten free menu items, and all of their rice bowls are gluten free as well! 

Moe's is also vegetarian friendly, and is a proud participant in Meatless Monday! They have organic tofu that is marinated in yummy southwest marinade. Also, as a service to their vegetarian patrons, their sour cream and cheese is free of animal rennet, and their meats and veggies are always cooked on separate grills.

Moe's is also a great place to go for low-cal options! They have a whole menu line designed with meals featuring under 400 calories. And we're talking yummy salads and burritos, not crappy low calorie food here! 

We really had a great time at Moe's! I got a chicken quesadilla, and hubs got two tacos, and we got some yummy nachos to share. And, of course the awesome FREE chips and salsa that Moe's always provides was a great appetizer! The food was great, and I love the fact that it is made to order. We had a great time and really enjoyed both our food and the atmosphere, as well as some MUCH needed time of not being Mommy and Daddy! (For those of you not so lucky to get a date night, Moe's has kids eat free Tuesdays, which is almost as good as a night out!)
