My Little Explorer Loves His Kidnoculars from #EducationalInsights!

I am so happy that we recently had the chance to review the GeoSafari Jr. Kidnoculars from Educational Insights! My little guy has had a great time with these kids binoculars ever since they arrived! These are perfect for little kiddos because they are three times the size of normal binoculars, and they are focus free. There is a soft plastic piece around the goggles so little kiddos can see perfectly from the very first time they try! 

Beanie loves that they come with a neckstrap, he wears them around his neck all the time. As a matter of fact, he now keeps these in the car, and every time we go anywhere, he grabs them and starts scoping out everything as soon as we leave the house! I love that these binoculars are specifically designed for kids, and at right around $15.00, the price is great too! These are great, and I can already tell that they are durable and well made. I expect them to last us a long time, and that's saying a lot with the two boys I have! 

We have been using these on nature walks, car trips, everywhere! They are going to be a great asset to those little eyes on our upcoming trip to the mountains too! I can't believe that summer is almost over. For me, it really has flown by. Isn't it crazy how some seasons seem to drag on and on, while others are over in a flash? There is so much stuff that we didn't get to do this summer, from going bowling, to one last trip to the zoo, to camping with the family at our favorite campground. We only used our logs in the backyard fire pit for making smores, but they were awesome! So much better than the real thing! I am definitely going to be stocking up on these when we go camping in a few weeks! We had a great time using our camping kit, even though we weren't "really" camping, just hanging out in the yard! Homeschool Week In The Smokies: We're Going, Are You?

Most of you guys already know my love for the Smoky Mountains. We got the chance to visit in January, and I completely fell in love. This place will forever be our yearly family vacation destination. Well, it doesn't happen often, but every great once in awhile, I make a plan that doesn't completely come back to bite me in the butt! It looks like this year might be one of those times! We were SUPER excited to learn that we will be visiting during Homeschool Appreciation Week in the Smokies! This is going to be so much fun for our boys, and give them the chance to do some things that we wouldn't otherwise be able to do! 

We almost never plan things at the "right" time, so this is going to be great for our family! Don't worry, we're taking you guys along for the ride again, just like last time! (Don't pack your bags just yet, you're only going on a VIRTUAL trip with us!) We'll check in all throughout the Smokies on our trip, and we will make sure to take tons of pictures to share with you through our reviews when we get home! 

If you're thinking about planning a trip to the Smokies, now is the time!! We are going to be REALLY enjoying the fact that we are now homeschoolers, hanging out and learning in the Smokies while everyone else is at school!! YAY!
