We made a great yummification, and we called it "Nate's Lemony Surprise", because my 8 year old came up with it.. (No, he did not drink it, although he REALLY wanted to!). We mixed one lemon 5-hour ENERGY® shot with equal parts lemonade and lemon-lime soda. I was a little unsure of this combination, being as it came from an 8 year old, but it was surprisingly tasty!!! Definitely a little bit tart with a little bit of a "kick", but come on, it's called Lemony Surprise, so what do you expect??? :) We also made a second yummification, courtesy of my 4 year old! (Hey, if big brother got to create a drink, little brother had to get in on the action too!) This time, we mixed a diet, caffeine free cola with a strawberry 5-hour ENERGY® shot. The result was a yummy take on a cherry/berry flavored cola with a boost! It was pretty darn good too!

Summer is winding down, and it's easy to forget the importance of sun protection when we are not heading to the beach or at the pool every day. However, you have to remember to be diligent about protecting yourself and your family from the sun no matter what season it is, no matter what the weather is like. I am the first to admit that, like most of us, in my younger days, I was not very good about protecting my skin.
