Well, it's that time of year again! Around my house, September means one thing, and that is the release of the newest annual book from Ripley Publishing. My ten year old is OBSESSED with all things Ripley (I'm serious, he can tell you the entire story of Robert Ripley's life), and he is always super pumped when a new book comes out!
This year's book is titled "Unlock The Weird", and it definitely does not disappoint when it comes to weirdness! The great thing about the Ripley books is that all the stories inside are incredibly weird, and also, incredibly true. This makes for a great reading experience, and is especially a good thing for reluctant readers. If you are having a hard time getting your kids (especially boys!) into books, this is a great place to start, since nothing sparks their interest like freaky and creepy things!
Sections in this year's book include animals, pop culture, feats, arts, and food, along with beyond belief. There really is something for everyone in these books, and this year's edition is the same!
