Every year, there are a few toys that come along for us to check out that quickly become our very favorites! This year, those toys are the awesome TMNT toys from Playmates Toys. My little Beanie is the biggest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles fan that I've ever seen! He has asked Santa (and mommy and daddy!) for nothing but Ninja Turtles toys, and we have done our best to oblige! So far, the only thing I haven't been able to find is the Ninja Turtles Secret Sewer Lair Playset!(IT'S SOLD OUT EVERYWHERE!!!)

We got the chance to try out some really cool role play toys from Playmates! We were lucky enough to get both the Michelangelo mask and the Raphael mask to try out, which was perfect since I have two guys who (sometimes) like to play together! 

These masks are really great quality, they are not cheap, flimsy plastic like some "dress up" toys are! What I really like is that the backs of the eye pieces are molded plastic, and fit nicely around little eyes without hurting them. These masks also come with fabric bandannas, which make them really nice! The Mikey mask has Mikey's signature silly grin, and his light green skin color. The Raph mask has Raph's famous scowl, and his darker green skin color. We really like these masks a lot! I wasn't sure if they would be able to stand up to the damage that my two little ninja turtles could dish out, but so far they have held up just fine! These are toys that are made for little guys, and I love that! I don't have to worry (so much!) about them breaking! 

We also got to try out the Deluxe Turtle Combat Shell, which I have to say is absolutely adorable! This toy has allowed my little man to transform into any of his favorite turtles whenever he wants! What could be better? Something else really cool? This shell can also double as a shield when the bad guys come, so your little turtle can defend himself! If you have the other turtle weapons that come separately, they fit perfectly into these holders as well. This is a great toy, very well made and has held up well so far!
