Thumbs Up To My Local RotoRooter!

I swear, I think every day should be love a plumber day! I am so grateful to have my local Rotorooter, and to have them on my side. There have been so many different times that things have gone wrong with our plumbing, and they are always there to help us out, pick up the pieces and then off they go on their merry little ways. Plumbers really do have some of the hardest jobs out there and they don't complain about them. (Well, barely.) They do stuff that none of us would like to do, and they do it with a smile on their faces.

Seriously, think for a minute. When was the last time that you saw a mean plumber? They just don't exist. Plumbers are sweet and nice and kind. They are used to helping people, and they are hard workers. I can't help it, I just have a soft spot for plumbers.

A lot of people don't realize what a hard job a plumber has. A fully licensed plumber has to go through years and years of training, and endure a lot of hard work to get to the top. That being said, a fully licensed plumber is also one of the best jobs out there, and it pays very well. But to get to the top, you have to start at the bottom. Plumbers have to really do a lot of work to get to where they are comfortable. Sometimes they have to spend years upon years as an apprentice, doing lots of work for little money, until they get the knowledge they need.

After a plumber finishes his three years of apprentice work, he has to go through a really hard master plumber's exam. To even be eligible to sit for this exam, a plumber has to have gone through at least 300 hours or more of work. That is a lot of hours! After this, if a plumber passes his test, he can become a licensed plumber. That is a lot of work, huh? I Know! I was surprised to find out all that a plumber has to go through! Crazy!

Did you know about how much work it takes to become a plumber, or were you as surprised as I was?

This has been a sponsored post, however, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
