Ringya Can Help You Stay Organized!! Plus $10 iTunes Giveaway!!

Are you organized? I wish that I could say that I was, but, alas, that is not the case. I used to be organized before the boys came along and ruined everything, but not anymore! Now I am lucky to make it out the door with both of them in the mornings. I am constantly going through the day saying "Oh Crap!" when I discover that I have forgotten something important! The worst has to be when I go to the store, even after I make a list, and come home missing half of the crap that I went for... Sigh.... I don't know if it is just mommy brain, or getting older, or what, but it sure is annoying!

But, as with everything these days, there is an app for that! Ringya is a FREE mobile app that helps you to get organized and stay on top of all that important stuff that you have to remember.Ringya is described as the first ever collaborative address book. You can get all of those lists you have, class lists, email contacts, team rosters, PTA lists, all of them, and put them on your phone and at your fingertips in just seconds! You can put your different contacts into separate "rings" to help you keep track of what is what. You can use the rings to call, text, or email whole groups, or individuals out of each group. This can be so helpful, say, if you are a team mom, or a PTA mom, and you need to get a message to all of the other parents. You can just email them all with one click, no going down the list and calling each one. I have been there, done that! Ohh, the agony LOL!

This is a really cool app, and I can see it having a great impact on not only busy moms, but everyone in general as a way to consolodate and simplify! Who doesn't need that? And best of all, Ringya is FREE! Yay! You can learn more about Ringya and download the app at their website here: http://ringya.com/ or you can find it on iTunes HERE. And, guess what? The folks at Ringya are so sweet, they are giving one lucky Flip Out Mama reader a $10 iTunes gift card too! Here's how to enter!

Mandatory Entry! Do this one before any of the extras!

Leave a comment below and let me know why you could use Ringya to simplify your life!

Fifty Two Shades of Blue-ish and Something I've Always Wanted To Do!

What is something that you have always wanted to do, but have never been brave enough to? That is the question I was asked recently by a campaign for Role Mommy Writer's Network. This posed a really deep question for me, and there really is only one answer for this question. Getting married. It is truly the only thing on the list for me. My love, my baby's daddy (LOL), my "hubs" and I have been together for a little over eight years. We have two beautiful boys together, a house, and a car. We met right out of high school and have been together ever since. But, we still haven't gotten married. Why not? I really honestly can't say. I am not sure. I guess we are just too scared. I don't want to be divorced. I would rather just be "together" than have to ever get divorced. I have four brothers and sisters, all divorced, remarried, divorced, etc.. and on and on it goes. I want my kids to have both their mom and their dad. I don't know why I think that by never getting married it will prevent us from ever breaking up, but I do. So, that's my one thing. Get married. I wonder if I will ever  do it.

I really enjoyed participating in this campaign for Role Mommy Writer's Network, since it made me think and get outside of my comfort zone. While I was participating in this campaign, I was introduced to a great book, "Fifty Two Shades of Blue-ish" by Karen Exkorn. Karen set out to write this book when she was contemplating her own dreams that she was always too afraid to go chase. It's a parody of another certain famous book and it is hilariously funny and inspiring at the same time. If you want to check out the book, here's the Amazon link: http://www.amazon.com/Fifty-Shades-Blue-ish-Karen-Exkorn/dp/0988401509/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1351518122&sr=8-1&keywords=fifty+two+shades+of+blueish.

If you still aren't sold on this book, check out a chapter from it below and see if you change your mind:

TV Providers: It's An Important Choice.

Okay, I need to first of all admit something to you guys. Since making the switch to "work at home" mom instead of "work outside the home" mom, I really watch a ton more tv than I used to... Now, we live way out in the sticks, so our only option for TV service is satellite. I really wish that we could have cable tv, but it isn't possible where we live. Boo. I would move to the city just to have some more cable and internet options!
If you are looking for cable tv providers, you have to really look at all of your options and decide which one is going to be best for you. I recently found a great site that you can check out here: http://www.comparetvproviders.com/cable-tv. At this site, you can enter your address, and you will see all of the options for cable, satellite, internet and phone service in your area. You can compare them all side by side and see which features some have that the others don't. I really like that, and I wish that I lived in a place that had options like this. I put in my sister's address (she lives in the city), and it came up with like ten different options for her! I am so jealous! If you are looking for cable tv or internet providers, this can be a great tool. You can even see different price ranges for how much the packages can cost. If you are looking for a new cable or internet provider, definitely check out this site!

Ever Heard Of Alkaline Water?

When I say alkaline, what do you think? Batteries? Me too. Well, up until a few days ago, anyway. Now, I am thinking something completely different. Alkaline Water. Yes, that's right, water. Alkaline water is sometimes also referred to as ionized water. Ionized water is produced by the water electrolysis process, and the result is water with a higher PH value than any other water.

There are actually quite a few benefits of drinking ionized water. According to www.bawellwaterionizers.com, some of the benefits of ionized water include helping aide in fetal development, helping to prevent osteoporosis because of it's increased calcium content, and protecting your DNA from free radicals that can cause diseases such as cancer. Ionized water has also been said to help diabetics because it can improve glucose tolerance and reduce blood glucose concentration.

Aside from drinking ionized water to reap the benefits, there are also other benefits. You can use it to sterilize your mouth and toothbrush, use it to sterilize fruits and veggies before eating, plus to remove bacteria from the hands. You can also use it to sanitize cooking surfaces like knives and cutting boards. It also has been shown to help with skin conditions such as dermatitis, and can help improve your pet's coat. Sounds like I could use ionized water in almost every aspect of my daily life, what about you?

Have you ever used ionized water? What do you use it for? Leave a message in the comments to let me know!

Hot Gift! Snowman Plug In Warmer PLUS GIVEAWAY!

And, we're back! One last review and giveaway from our friends at Candle Warmers, Etc, and this time we have an adorable snowman to show you! This time around we got to review a Snowman Plug In Fragrance Warmer! I am in love with plug in warmers! We don't have a lot of space in our tiny little house, especially around the holidays, so I like to be able to plug in the warmer and get it off of the counters and out of the way!

And look at his little frosty face! Isn't it adorable!? I really think that these plug in warmers make great gifts, even stocking stuffers! They are perfect for anyone who is short on space! I think they would be good in dorm rooms, offices, anywhere where you still need some yummy fragrance but might not have the room! Plus, the price is right for these warmers, you could even get one for everyone on your list!

I love these plug in warmers, and I am now on a mission to have one in every room in our house! My husband thinks I am crazy but that's okay! :) I love these things, because they are so small and compact, but they fill your whole room with fragrance in just a few short minutes! Plus, with a plug in warmer there is no actual flame, so I don't have to worry about the boys catching the house on fire! That's always a plus! Hot Gift! Santa Illumination Fragrance Wamer PLUS GIVEAWAY!

We're back with another great review and giveaway from our friends at Candle Warmers, Etc. This time around we are reviewing an awesome Illumination Fragrance Warmer, and guess what? It's SANTA! I was really excited to review this one, since we don't have much in the way of Holiday Decor, and I am always happy and excited to be adding to our collection!
Isn't he cute??!! I love this little guy! Like I have said before, I love the look, ambiance and smell of candles, but I just can't burn them anymore now that the boys are so big and run, jump, scream and climb all over the place. It's just not safe anymore, so that is why I have grown to really love candle warmers. For the holidays, this one is absolutely adorable! I love it! The Santa Hat is where the wax melts or scented oil goes, and there are little holes in his beard where the light shines through. This one is adorable when the lights are off!

I think that this Santa Fragrance Warmer would make a great gift for anyone on your list, especially if they have kids or grandkids!  Or it would be a great addition to your own holiday decor! The boys love this thing as much as I do and they are always wanting me to take him down off the counter so they can see Santa! If you need gift inspiration, the folks at Candle Warmers, etc. have got you covered! Look at these other two adorable Holiday Fragrance Warmers that I found that I am going to get too!

Hot Gift! Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp PLUS GIVEAWAY!

If you know me, you know that candles are one of my favorite gifts to both give and receive. Everyone loves them, and I like to give a gift that really can help to make someone's home more cozy. So, when we got the chance this holiday season to work with Candle Warmers, Etc on some great reviews and giveaways, we were so excited!
Our first product that we reviewed has to be my very favorite! I already am in love with candle warmers and tarts, but this product is really a new spin on that concept. The Aurora Candle Warmer Lamp is just a really cool product. It's a candle warmer, but it warms the candle from the top with a soft halogen light. It makes your whole house smell wonderful in just a matter of minutes! What I really liked about this candle warmer lamp is that it actually creates ambiance, with a nice soft glow. It looks really pretty with all of the lights off!
You can get the Candle Warmer Lamp Combo, which I think is probably the best deal. It comes with the candle warmer lamp and an awesome Jamie Clair 22 oz candle of your choice, so you will be ready to go once you get your package. We received this combo and our candle was the Apples and Spice. If you don't want to buy the combo, you can get just the lamp and use it with candles you might already have. Or, you can, of course, just get the candles! Whatever you need, Candle Warmers, etc.. makes it easy for you to give a great gift! (Or, pick up something special for yourself!)

I am in love with our candle warmer lamp, and I know that we will be using it for many months to come! When you have young kids at home, it is just too risky having "real" candles burning all the time. I am so glad that candle warmers are around to make sure that I can still keep my home pretty, cozy, and smelling great without having to worry about my kiddos getting hurt or something bad happening to my house! Thanks, Candle Warmers, etc!! If you would like to check out their amazing selection of candles, candle warmers, and other products, just click here! But, be forewarned, you can spend DAYS on their site, they have so much cool stuff!

We are also going to be giving away one of these awesome Candle Warmer Lamp Combos to one lucky Flip Out Mama reader!

If you would like to win, just leave a comment below telling me who you would give this awesome gift to if you were our winner! (Or if you would keep it for yourself!) Make sure to leave your email address in the comments too so we can contact you if you win!

Mutt Shop Products For All Your Camping And Outdoor Needs!

My family loves camping and spending time outdoors. We don't get to go camping nearly as much as we would like, since someone is always at work or school or running around somewhere. It is rare that we are all in the same place at the same time! However, I am always trying to build up our supply of camping and outdoor gear so that when the rare time comes that we get the chance to go camping, we will be ready!

I was recently searching for some new gear when I came across Mutt Shop Products. Mutt Shop is a really cool site because they have all sorts of outdoor products and gear. I like that they don't specialize in any one particular thing, you can find everything there! They even make some of the products that they sell themselves, how cool is that!?

I found a ton of great stuff for our camping collection, and I even managed to find some games that will be great to take along. I am always looking for stuff that we can play and do inside in case it rains while we are camping. But, check out my very favorite product that I found:
You can make popcorn over a campfire, backyard fire pit, or even over the stove! I love this thing, I have got to get one for our camping gear stash! I remember my parents had a thing like this when I was younger, and I loved it! If you are looking for some cool new gear like this, check out Mutt Shop Products, and they will get you taken care of!

Domino's Introduces New HANDMADE Pan Pizza! (Review!)

Something that you should know about my family: we LOVE pizza. I mean really. We usually have a pizza night at least once a week, and I am not ashamed to say that some weeks we have more than one pizza night....Confession? Our Christmas Dinner tradition is pizza at our local pizza place... Is that bad?

So, when Domino's gave us a chance to review their new Handmade Pan Pizza, we were up for the challenge! The folks at Domino's PR made it super easy for us, they worked out all the details! They even offered to arrange for delivery, but since we live in the sticks, we went to pick up instead! As usual, the folks at our local Domino's were super helpful and friendly, and within a few minutes, we were good to go!

The first thing we noticed about the new Pan Pizza was the box. The pizzas were in these really cool all black boxes, which the boys thought were awesome. Tater even said "I thought we were going to Domino's! Those aren't Domino's boxes!" LOL. My kids know their pizza! We also got to try some of Domino's new Parmesan bites, and umm... I am embarrassed to say, that I ate them all on the way home. All 16 of them. I didn't even share with anyone else. Sorry folks. They were that good. I have found my new favorite snack!

I had to keep the hubs from tearing into the pizza on the 20 min drive home, it smelled so good, he didn't want to wait! I have to say, though, that this Handmade Pan Pizza was worth the wait! We don't order pan pizza very often, I don't know why.. I guess I have always associated pan pizza with having a tough, thick crust. Well, I was so wrong. So, so wrong.

Our family is all in agreement that this is the best pizza we have ever had from Domino's, and possibly our favorite pizza we have ever had. I didn't think you would really be able to tell that the crust was fresh, not frozen, but I could really taste the difference. This was not the pan pizza that I had grown up on! The crust was thick, of course, like it is supposed to be. But, where in the past I had experienced tough and yucky crust, there was none. This crust is something else, for real. .. It is thick, but tender and kind of melts in your mouth. It is buttery, but not greasy. It honestly tasted like the pizza that we get from one of those "gourmet sit down" pizza places for like $25 each!

The folks at Domino's did a great job of perfecting the crust, and they also did a great job at perfecting the crust/sauce/topping ratio. That is usually one of my biggest pet peeves with pan pizzas. Usually it is all crust, and no sauce or toppings. But, this time, Domino's has really got it right! I really liked the way that this pizza had the perfect balance of everything!

We ate those pizzas up in no time! I can't believe that we didn't even get a chance to take pictures!! I didn't even realize it until the next day, when all the pizza boxes were already out in the trash! But, you will have to take my word for it, these pizzas were amazing! Domino's has really done a great job with this pizza, and I honestly don't think that any other pan pizza can compare to this! Great job, Domino's!

We got to try Domino's new pizza free of charge in order to conduct this review, however all thoughts and opinions are 100 percent my own.

The Walking Dead Rick Grimes Costume Review!

I can not believe it is almost Halloween already! I love this time of year, it is one of my favorites, mostly because of how happy it makes (all three) of my boys! They all love scary stuff, candy, and most importantly, zombies.. So, when Tater decided that he wanted to be Rick from The Walking Dead this year, I was thrilled! I couldn't have picked a better costume than this one!

Usually when I am picking boy's  Halloween costumesI am a little bit wary, since so many of them seem to be crappy and not very well made. But, from the time we received this costume, I knew that wasn't going to be the case with this one!

The first thing I noticed was that this is an officially licensed costume, AMC approved! That made me really happy, that we weren't getting some cheap knockoff! I knew it was really going to look like Rick! I am really impressed with the quality of this costume. I ordered the Large size, which is an 8/10 I believe. It was a little tight on Tater, but let's face the facts, Tater is not a small guy anymore, and it is hard to find something that his belly does NOT stick out of LOL. It actually fits him pretty snugly, but since it is a police officer uniform, it looks like it is made that way.

The fabric is actually really durable for a costume, I am used to junk costumes that rip apart the second you touch them. The costume comes with everything you need: pants, sheriff shirt, policeman belt with billy club, gun, walkie talkie, and of course, the all important Rick Grimes sheriff hat! I was really happy that it came with all that it did, I expected to have to buy the belt and accessories separately. The only thing I am going to have to find is a bloody axe, which is proving to be difficult to find around here. Apparently, bloody axes are all the rage, because they are all sold out!

Tater love loves LOVES this costume! I am going to be posting a picture of him later today in it, but he is asleep right now. Wait until you see how cute he looks! If you watch the show, I really think he looks a lot like Carl in this outfit, especially with his freckle face and his sheriff hat! His favorite part is that the name tag on the shirt says "Grimes", he loved that little touch! I do wish that I could have talked Beanie into being a little zombie this year so that their costumes would coordinate, but alas, I think that dream is never going to be. I have wished that for the last two years... Anyhow, we are thrilled with our Rick Grimes costume this year! If you are looking for quality kid's costumes this year, Anytime Costumes has you covered! A big thanks to our friends there who allowed us the chance to review yet another of their great costumes!

If you are a zombie going trick or treating this year, watch out! Rick Grimes is after you!

we received a complimentary costume in order to conduct this review. However, all thoughts and opinions are 100 percent our own!

What's On Your Kid's Christmas List??

Oh my goodness.. Can you guys believe that it's almost THAT time again??? Oh, yeah, you know what I am referring to.. Christmas! I can not believe that Fall is here and that Holiday 2012 is almost here! We are of course, gearing up for our holiday gift guide, and I am just about finished, but still looking for a few companies and products to add to our list..

So, I thought I would ask the experts... You guys! What are your kids asking for this year? What is on the Christmas list of your little ones? Shew, at my house we have two different ends of the spectrum. For Tater, he is asking for anything and everything tech-y... Can you believe the six year old is asking for a computer??? Ipod apps, video games, r/c cars... Anything electronic is just perfect for that guy..

However, my sweet little Beanie, he is just the opposite. He wants toys, actual toys to play with! And, you know what is pretty funny? He actually prefers wooden toys, instead of cheapo plastic toys, or loud, annoying battery operated toys. I love that fact! He will sit on the floor and build with wooden blocks, or play with his wooden train set. It is the cutest thing ever! I guess he gets that from me, since I always prefer to buy wooden toys for the boys instead of cheapo ones!

So, questions... Answer in the comments! Let me know what your kids are wanting for Christmas! What companies should I be contacting for our gift guide this year? Let me know!

Spending A Day With The Dinosaurs- Dinosaur World!

When we were figuring out what places to visit on our "mini vacation" to Bowling Green/Cave City, there was one place that I knew we couldn't pass up. With two little boys who are crayzeee about anything "prehistoric", I knew Dinosaur World in Cave City was a must stop on our list!

I'm telling you guys, this place was great! We went, it was just the beginning of the "off season", right before Labor Day. Summer was beginning to wind down, and when we visited, early on a weekday morning, we were actually the only visitors in the whole place! That is my kind of visit! I actually usually try to plan our outings for times like this, when I know that attractions won't be packed and busy, so we can take our time, do whatever we want, at our own pace, and not feel rushed and super claustrophobic.. Well, this time was perfect, since we had the whole place to ourselves!

When you first go inside, you go through the gift shop. It is simply amazing in there, with so many different types of fossils, plus tons of dino goodies to take home. But, more on that later! After you go through the gift shop, you come outside, and you can get started wherever you want. We started with the museum. This place was awesome! Although it was a little dark inside, and the boys were a little creeped out (after their experience at the haunted house at Beech Bend!) we really had a great time and learned a lot at the museum. There were dino bones, fossils, teeth, eggs, everything! We really learned a lot, and it was so cute seeing the boys go to each exhibit and read about it!

When we went back outside, we decided to go through the trail and see all the dinos. These things were seriously awesome! They were so life-like, and we had a great time learning about all of them! I loved the fact that the place wasn't packed, we got to take our time and really learn about each dinosaur. It was a great chance to let Tater read each description to us himself, and as we went down the trail, they just got more and more excited!

When we got to the top of the trail, we even got to take a picture with an awesome GIANT dino! The boys loved that, since it is the same giant dino that you can see from the road! After finishing up the trail, we went over to the playground and spent some time eating our snacks that we brought. Then we checked out the boneyard. Now, I think this was Bean's favorite part! It is like a giant sandbox that has a "dino" buried in it, and your little palentologist gets to dig and uncover the bones! It was so cute, and we seriously probably spent about an hour in just this part alone! The only reason that we stopped, was because it was time for the fossil dig!

The fossil dig takes place at certain times during the day, and a Dinosaur World employee guides the kids in a real life dino dig to uncover some real fossils! This was Tater's favorite part, I really can't tell you how much they enjoyed this. The employee who was doing the dino dig was wonderful! I wish I could remember his name so I could give him a shout out for being so great with my kiddos! He took extra time with my boys, even though we were the only people there and he could have easily just gotten it over with. I can't tell you how much digging up those fossils meant to the boys. They now each have a special box on their dressers with their shark teeth, REAL dinosaur bones, amber, and other awesome fossils. They take them out every once in awhile and look at them and talk about how much fun they had that day.

I really can't say enough good things about the fine folks at Dinosaur World. They were so great, and went out of their way to make us feel welcome and at home! I am now forever a fan of Dinosaur World, and I have to say that for the price, this is one of the best deals we found in Cave City! You can easily spend a whole day here checking out all the fun dino stuff! For more information on Dinosaur World, click here to visit their website!

We received complimentary passes to Dinosaur World in order to conduct this review. Although we received complimentary passes, this in no way influenced our opinions or thoughts.
