As everybody knows, October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. So, in honor of that, and in conjunction with our Fall Fashion Event, I recently had the honor of reviewing an awesome pair of Reebok Zig Flys: the Pink Ribbon Edition!
Look at these adorable shoes! They are seriously the coolest shoes I have ever owned! I have had my eye on the Zig Techs forever, since they first came out! But, alas, the boys are always the ones who get the "cool" shoes, and mom gets stuck with the clearance finds! But, oh boy, not this time! These shoes are amazing!
If you have never heard of the Zig Tech model, let me tell you a little bit about them. They are really innovative shoes, that feature the wavy, zig zag design on the bottom. The foam zig zag sole absorbs the shock at the heel, and converts it into a wave of energy that runs along the length of the shoes, up to the toes, and propels the wearer forward. The zig zag sole reduces wear and tear on the muscles by up to 20%!
The first thing I noticed about these shoes are how comfortable they are! They feel so good on my feet! I often have a lot of pain on the ball of my foot, but this shoe has like a cushion built in at just the right spot that supports that part of my foot. It is honestly like they were made for me! They are also really breathable, perfect for working out! I hate to feel my feet sweating, and these shoes keep that feeling away!
These shoes also look great, even if you are not working out. They have so many styles and colors, you can even customize a pair and have them made with your favorite colors! I love love love these shoes, and I am definitely going to be getting them in different colors!!
