Holiday Gift Guide 2010: Bridgewater Candle Company

I think all girls love candles. I know that they are always on my Christmas List, and I always buy them for the ladies on my list! So, I am very excited to get to introduce you to a great candle company.

Bridgewater Candles is a great company that is working hard to give back to those in need. They are running a wonderful campaign right now, called Light A Candle, Feed A Child. Bridgewater Candles is teaming up with Rice Bowls to feed orphaned children. For each jar candle that they sell, Bridgewater Candles will make a donation to Rice Bowls. Each candle feeds one child for one day! This is a great idea, and I love the concept! You get a wonderful gift for yourself or someone else, and help an orphan in the process!

Bridgewater Candles was kind enough to send me some of their lovely candles to review.

What Mama Thinks:
LOVE THESE! Bridgewater Candles are made from a natural soy blend, so they smell great, and last longer than other candles. They are absolutely beautiful, the jars are gorgeous, and they look great in any room! I received the Frosted Berry, Cookie Jar , and Silent Night candles. I tried soooo hard to save them until closer to Christmas time to burn them, but you know that I can not hold out that long, so yeah, they are burning right now!

The Frosted Berry is probably my favorite, this is it's description from the website:
"Sweet berry aroma scattered among woodsy pine and softened with warm vanilla recalls the first snow day of the year."
It smells sooo good! It fills up the whole house, and I can even smell it hours after I have blown the candle out!
I also received the Cookie Jar Candle:
"Cinnamon spice, creamy vanilla, and brown sugar blended with rolled oats and raisins are the ingredients for warm memories."
It really does smell like a Sugar Cookie! I love this one! Y'all know I'm not much of a Betty Homemaker, but this makes my house smell good like I've been baking cookies!
The other candle I received was the Silent Night Candle:
"Family holiday traditions are sweetened with fresh, crisp jasmine and lily adorned with vanilla, amber, and powdery smooth sandalwood"
This one is also great! It is very fresh, and "clean" smelling. I have been burning it in the bathroom, and it even makes my laundry smell better!
Thank you so much to Bridgewater Candles for letting me try these! I can't wait to pick some up for the girls on my Christmas List!
Disclosure: I received a product sample in order to conduct this review. Although I received a product, all opinions are my own, and no monetary compensation was given.
