Book Review: What Good Is God? By Phillip Yancey

I recently had the opportunity to review the book "What Good Is God?" by Phillip Yancey.

This book questions where is God when tragedies occur, when bad things happen? The author, who is a public speaker, travels the world to locations of various tragic events (Virginia Tech and Mumbai for example).

Yancey tries to make sense of the hurting and suffering people of the world, by recounting his speeches that we did at each of these locations.
The book was a little hard for me to follow, since it is broken up into the different speeches, and there is no real flow throughout. But, I liked the things Yancey had to say, and I admire him for his tireless faith and effort on his journeys.

This book is available through Hatchette Book Group.

disclosure: I received a copy of the book in order to conduct a review. All opinions are my own and no monetary compensation was given.
