Waitresses are pen hounds. Everyone knows this, it is no secret. Pens are very important to us, I mean really, you have to have a good pen to take an order. The pen has to be comfortable, and most importantly, it has to write good. So when I recently had the chance to review the UGLEE pen, I was totally ready!

The ugly pen, is well, an ugly pen. But, it is so much more. It is a ergonomic pen, a comfort pen. It was created by Dr. James Lee, who, after the countless paperwork that comes with med school, realized the need for a more comfortable pen. And, the rest, my dears, is history. (BTW, UGLEE pen is not really "ugly pen", UG is for Ultimate Grip, and Lee, of course for Dr. Lee.)

The UGLEE pen weighs only 11 grams, and it has a full grip, all the way up the pen. This makes it extra comfortable. This ergonomic pen also has some of the smoothest ink in the world.

I took the UGLEE pen to work, and since then, it has literally been the only pen I have used. It really is much more comfortable than any other pen I have used. And it does have really high-quality ink. Usually the pens only write on the front side of an order ticket, and you have to get another pen/marker, etc to write "thank you" on the back of the ticket. But, the UGLEE pen worked fine on both sides of the ticket! Even my customers commented on it, when I let them use the UGLEE pen to sign their credit card reciepts. They kept saying "this is a really nice pen," and "where do you get pens like that?"

I wholeheartedly and honestly recommend that you try the UGLEE pen, even if you are just looking for an everyday comfortable pen. It doesn't matter if you are a waitress, or a doctor, or just someone who writes a grocery list, you will really enjoy this pen!
