Back To School Shopping With Crocs!

Thank you to Crocs for sponsoring this blog post. Please click here to learn more about Crocs’ new Back to School line. I was selected for this sponsorship by the Clever Girls Collective. All opinions expressed here are my own.

Next week we start Back To School shopping for my big boy! I can't believe he will be a kindergartener this year! He went to half day preschool last year, but this is his first "real" school year, with lunch in the cafeteria, and special classes and field trips, etc.. He is so excited!

I am excited too, but not so much about the bite that it is going to take out of my money! The supply list is two pages long, not to mention, clothes, shoes, backpack, etc! Shew! Mama was not ready for this one!

I always really stink at Back To School shopping too.. It's always like 90 degrees here when it's time to go back to school, so I am always buying shorts and sandals, tee shirts stuff like that! Never fails, within a month of school starting, it's switched to freezing outside and, of course, my kids won't have a jacket or coat, or jeans, or long sleeve shirts, or boots! LOL So, this year I am going to try to balance a little bit more and make sure that I can get Tater a few "warm weather" outfits and a few "cooler weather" outfits.. We shall see how mama does with this!

I was really excited when i got to check out the new Back To School line of Crocs recently! When I think of Crocs, I think of Summer shoes, you know, the clogs, with the holes!? Well, I was really surprised when I checked out the Back To School line! These shoes will definitely last well into the cooler weather! Check out some of my favorites that I found for Tater:

And, darn it! If I only had a sweet baby girl! The shoes in the girls Back To School line are the cutest! Wanna see?

These are only  a few of the adorable shoes that Crocs has for Back To School! If you wanna see all of them, check out the adorable video at the top of the page!

Make sure to check back here at Flip Out Mama in the next week or so and see how we do on our school shopping extravaganza!

Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Screen Laptop Review!

My sweet little Bean has blogger genes. Or, at least, that's what I think. Out of the 9 million times a day I tell him "No/Stop/Get Down/Leave That Alone" I would say 99% of those times, it is pertaining to leaving alone my laptop!

He has always been that way!

The proof?

This picture was taken about a year ago, when my Bean was around 4 months old! He's just always loved computers!

So, when I recently got the chance to review a Fisher Price Laugh & Learn Smart Screen LapTop, I was so excited!
This is such a cute toy!

I really love the bright colors! The keys are big and easy for little fingers to push! I was really surprised at all the different things that this toy teaches: letters, numbers, counting, shapes, colors, opposites, objects and more. It even teaches Spanish!

Bean's favorite part is definitely the mouse! He loves rolling it around.. He also really likes slamming the lid, of course..But, that's okay, because now it's HIS laptop instead of mine! LOL :) This toy also has several really cute songs that he likes to dance to! It is really funny!

He also really likes when the numbers, letters and shapes pop up on screen. He always has had a thing for lights, and he says "ooooh!" every time something pops up on the screen! It's so cute!

This toy has really held his interest, a lot more than any other toy that he has owned so far! I should have known that it would be a good one... You can always count on Fisher Price to provide fun, durable, educational toys for your kids! I'd say we have more Fisher Price toys in this house than any other brand combined!

Don't think that Fisher Price is just for babies! They make a ton of wonderful toys for big kids too! Tater loves Power Wheels, and Imaginext toys are his very favorite! So, moral of the story, no matter what age your babies may be, Fisher Price has something for them!

Thanks Fisher Price for getting my baby his own laptop! I don't like to share!

PlasmaCar: Kid Power is The BEST Power!

If you guys read my blog, you know that I have a never ending struggle with the boys that live here over electronics and technology. They all (even the baby!) love TV, Video Games, computers, etc. So, if the opportunity presents itself for me to get them out of the house, and away from the controllers, I am there!

That's why I was so excited when we recently got to review the PlasmaCar! The PlasmaCar is a kid's (well, grownups too!) ride on toy that is powered by the only form of power that never runs out: Kid Power! I love love LOVE that the PlasmaCar takes no batteries, nothing! I also love that there are no pedals, my boys are pedal-impaired! :)

We received the red Plasmacar to review! I love how cool it looks, Tater says it looks like a "spaceman car!"
Check out all the awards that the PlasmaCar has won:
  • 2009: Voted #1 Top Spring and Summer Kids Essentials by disneyfamily.com
  • 2009: National Parenting Center, Seal of Approval
  • 2008: iParenting Media Toy Award in the Toy Category
  • 2008: Fat Brain Toy Award in the Active Play Category
  • 2007: TD Monthly, Top Toy Award
  • 2006: TIA (Toy Industry Association) Toy of the Year Nomination in the following two categories: Outdoor Toy of the Year and Specialty Toy of the Year
  • 2006: Learning Express Stores; Most Innovative New Product
  • 2006: Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, Platinum Award
  • 2005: Oppenheim Toy Portfolio, Gold Seal Award
  • 2003: NETS (Neighbourhood Toy Stores of Canada), Gold Star Toy Award
  • 2003: Today’s Parent, Top Toy List (Wow! Status)
  • 2001: Gold Medal, International Patent Fair, Hong Kong

We all ( and I do mean ALL!) LOVE the PlasmaCar! All you do is sit on it and turn the little steering wheel thingy! And, there ya go! And, I promise, mommies and daddies can ride on the PlasmaCar too! (You can do it when nobody's home, that's what I did!) Another thing that I love about the PlasmaCar? It is Q.U.I.E.T!!! Is there a better word to a mommy?

The PlasmaCar is available in yellow, blue, purple, red and pink! They are very affordable, usually around $60.00. You can locate them at a store near you by clicking here!
Also, Don't forget to join PlasmaCar on Facebook and Twitter!

A big thanks to PlasmaCar for giving my boys such an awesome toy for them (and me!) to play with!

Whose Blog Is It, Anyway?

Okay, so the hot topic flying around right now is "Bloggers Blogging For Free", and "Blogging For A Chance To Win" and all the reasons why you shouldn't do either of those things...

I usually refrain from commenting on things that can get people pissed, such as politics, religion, social issues, etc.. I know that I usually have a very different opinion than most people on, well pretty much every issue, but I feel like I need to speak out about this one.

I recently participated in the Mom Blogger's Club and Master Lock campaign. This campaign was for the first 100 bloggers, to receive a Master Lock and a $10 Visa Gift Card.

So, here's the deal, people.

Maybe I'm not a "professional" blogger like a lot of others. I try really hard to be professional, to build close and long lasting relationships with the companies I work with. I have worked hard to get each and every reader that I have, and it might not be 10% of the readers that a lot of other mom bloggers have. But I do cherish and appreciate every single one.

I don't get invites to special VIP events. I don't get (many) exclusive review ops from big name companies. I don't get to go to blogger conferences, or anything like that. I don't have buyers for ad space, I don't do many sponsored posts.   When I do get ops, I get to review a product. I don't get to review a product, along with a $250 gift card. I sure as hell wish that I did. Believe me, things would be a lot better in the Flip Out Mama homestead if that were the case.

Here's the real deal: I'm poor. Like, as in, struggle to pay our bills before the cut off poor.  As in sometimes, I don't have the gas to get to work poor. But, I love blogging. It is truly my passion, and one of very few things in my life that I have found that I am good at.

So, when I get an email asking me to write a simple, easy post, and I see that there are only a handful of posts in front of me, I do it. Because, for me and my family, that $10.00 Visa Gift Card has endless possibilities: School supplies for my big boy? A pizza and Redbox for a special family night? Gas so mommy can get to work? A pack of diapers when there aren't any more?

As you can see, $10.00 might not be jack to you, but to my family, it could really mean a lot. So, please, please, don't judge me for the decisions that I make on my blog. If I had the means and the readers and the traffic that a lot of other mom bloggers do (and believe me, I'm trying, til 2am most nights!) I wouldn't have to "blog for a chance to win". I hope that eventually I will get to that point and be able to pick and choose the opportunities that I get to take for my family. Maybe one day my boys and I can go on a vacation. Maybe Mommy will be able to let her guard down and not be worried about money for one minute of the day. But until, then, I have to do what I have to do.

So please don't judge me. I am not trying to make other Mom bloggers look bad, or make other mom bloggers think that they should work for free. I think of it as paving my way, working my way up to bigger and better things. Because, sometimes yall, beggars just can't be choosers.

Happy Meal Re-Vamp? Whaddya Think?

So, have you guys heard this? Starting in September, our beloved Happy Meals will automatically contain a new item: Produce?

Yep, that's right! McDonald's is going to downsize the size of the fries in Happy Meals (from 2.4 to 1.1 ounces), and start automatically putting in apple dippers (without the caramel dip)!

I think this is a very exciting and long overdue change! We don't usually eat out, but when we go to McDonald's, I always try to get Tater to get the apple dippers, but he throws a fit, because right now, if you get apple dippers, you don't get fries! But now, you will be able to get both! (It will also be an option to get 2 bags of apple dippers instead of any fries.)

Another part of this that I thought was really exciting was that McDonald's says that they may offer carrots, pineapple slices, raisins or mandarin oranges as an option, depending on the season and region. McDonald's plans on also reducing the sodium content of all of its menu items by 15 percent by 2015.

I think this is a great idea! Apparently it stems from the fact that McDonald's was getting into trouble for marketing Happy Meal toys to kids when the Happy Meals weren't meeting nutritional requirements....

What do you guys think about this? Good idea, bad idea? I would love to know your opinions!

He Did It!!!

My sweet little fat baby finally learned to walk! I could not be happier! He is fourteen months old, and I have been nothing but worried about him for the last two months. All the articles I have read say 95% of babies walk by the time they are 15 months old, so I was beginning to feel like I was going to explode.

He has been cruising, bending, kneeling, squatting, etc for a couple of months now, but yesterday, he just let go and did it! HURRAY! I know it's really not THAT big of a deal, and he would have gotten it eventually, but I really wanted him to be part of the 95% lol.

Needless to say, this mommy is on cloud 9 today!

Pretty Pushers makes labor FUN! (Ok, not quite...)

Now that my babies are five and one, when I think back to the glorious, beautiful days when they were born, the one thing I think of is

"Why didn't I have a delivery gown?"

I'm freaking serious guys, and I will show you why.

Would you like to see what I wore to give birth?

The beautiful, always stylish, sea green hospital gown!

(Say something about my giant swollen feet, I swear to God, I'll hunt you down. Just sayin'.)

But anyways ladies, I could have looked like this:

Seriously? Is this fair at all? Why did no one alert me to the fact that these things existed!?! I am here to alert you though! In case you didn't already know about delivery gowns, I am here to save you from a sea green labor nightmare!

Pretty Pushers makes some of the most adorable delivery gowns I have ever seen!

Why do you need a delivery gown? (Seriously, was the photo I showed you not enough??) You need a delivery gown for the simple fact that this is YOUR special day. How many pictures will be taken? Videos, even? (NO thank you.) You are going to be utterly miserable a tad bit uncomfortable, so why not wear something to make you feel a little better?

Ahhh! Isn't it the cutest! And not just cute, functional too! All of Pretty Pushers delivery gowns are made of 100% cotton, so you know these babies are comfy! Those ties in the front? Not just sexy for your big belly! That's so those nurses don't have to yank your gown up over your head to put a monitor on if you need it! The back of the gown is also low cut to allow for easy epidural access for your new best friend, the anesthesiologist! The halter top is easy to get on, and the back has an adjustable tie too.
See??? And yes, one size fits most pregnant bellies! No wondering about what size you need! Pretty Pushers also now offers plus size gowns too, which is awesome!

Now, ladies, something that we need to talk about, is what you are gonna do with this gown after you, well, birth in it... You are gonna have to throw it away. I know, I know it's freaking gorgeous... but.. probably won't be so gorgeous when you're done.. and, there's probably not a chance you are gonna get the hospital peeps to wash it for you.. Wanna wait til you get home? Yes, go home from having a baby and do some laundry! I don't think so!
Pretty Pushers knows all of this, and have designed their gowns to be throw-away-friendly. That's why you will find no trim, unfinished edges, and very few seams. They have tried to make these gowns as easy to dispose of as possible, so the Earth will be happy too!

Another great thing I love about Pretty Pushers, all of their products are made right here in the good old U S of A! :)

Now, of course, I am NOT able to review this gown! (No, no, no, no, no.....)But, I do have a niece who is going to be having a baby this Fall/Winter, and I know she will be SO happy with this gown!

We received this gown to review! This the the unbleached natural nursing gown. It is made of 100% organic cotton, and it is Soooo soft! It is made with no bleach and no dyes, which I love!It is a bit different than the rest: it comes in sizes S/M/L/XL, depending on your pre-pregnancy size. It also comes with three pair of washable nursing pads. These are so soft, and they have GOT to be better than the horrible disposable ones! I know my niece is really going to love this gown! I really like the fact that even if she decides not to breast feed, she can wear this at home during the day with the baby, or at night to bed. It's kind of an either/or kind of gown, I love that! Pretty much, best gown ever!

This isn't the last you will see of Pretty Pushers here on Flip Out Mama! We will be revisiting this review later in the Fall, and checking out my niece's baby belly in this adorable gown! Stay tuned everyone!

(And one more thing: IF I ever get pregnant again, somebody better buy me one of these. And then get my husband a nerve pill. That is all ;)

Disclosure: I received the above mentioned products in order to conduct this review. Although a sample product was received, all opinions are mine and mine alone. No monetary compensation was received.

Fundex Games= Fun For The Whole Family!(GIVEAWAY with THREE WINNERS!)

When I recently got to choose some items to review from Fundex games, I am not even going to lie. It took me like two hours to choose. I kept finding such cool stuff, and I just couldn't decide.

They seriously have so many awesome games on their site. Should I choose games for the boys? Or hubs and I? Card games or board games? Games to play outside? What about games for the whole family? The possibilities were endless!

I am so excited to be working with Fundex games and I can't wait to show you guys the games that we got to review! They all became fast favorites in our house!

The first game we reveiwed was the one that has my little Tater head-over-heels in love! This is the PERFECT little boy game! It is called "What's In Ned's Head?" and it contains some really gross (FAKE) stuff, like fake vomit, bugs, dirty Q-tips, a rat, etc. This game is really simple for younger kids, which made it great for us! You put all the objects inside Ned's head. Then, each person draws a card with a "silly thing" on it. That is your silly thing that you will try to find! Then, all at the same time, you stick your hands in one of Ned's ears or nostrils (yummy!) and dig around to try to find your silly item. No looking! The first person to pull out the right item wins! If no one pulls out the right item on the first try, Ned is the winner! A really cool thing about this game is that it contains ten blank cards that you can use to add your own "silly things" from around the house. We tried to do this, and got a rock, and a candy wrapper. I had to turn down quite a few ideas for things to put in Ned's head ("Look Mom! We can use that dog poop in the yard! Oooh Here's a banana peel!"), but really, there are tons of things that you could use!

VERDICT: Love Love LOVE this game! Perfect for little boys! Tater had no idea that he was actually using his sense of touch to play this game, and his memory! It was great to see him get so excited about all the "Yucky Stuff" inside Ned's Head! This game is definitely a winner around here!

Next we got to review Uno: Family Guy! I knew this one would also be popular since Tater and his daddy are both big Family Guy fans! We have been wanting to teach Tater to play Uno for awhile, but he has never seemed interested. I knew it would be good for him, to teach not only colors and numbers, but matching and taking turns as well.

VERDICT:Well, Peter Griffin on the cards did the trick! He has asked to play this Family Guy Uno game every day since it arrived! His favorite part is the special Stewie "OBEY ME!" card, which allows you to take over the game! Now, I think he is still a little young for Uno, the ages say from 7 and up, but he definitely got the just of it, and as long as we were all (very) patient, he did just fine!

Now folks, this one was mom's favorite! This is the Chairs Stacking Game (with collectible tin). The ages on this game are 5 and up. That makes it perfect to play with the whole family! I really enjoyed this game and I also enjoyed that there are multiple ways to play! The first way to play is to decide on a number of rounds.  (We played 5 rounds.) Each player starts by stacking up a chair on their turn, without letting them fall. If the stack of chairs falls on your turn, you must count one point for each chair that fell down on your turn. Then a new round starts. At the end of all the rounds, the player with the lowest number of points wins! The other way to play is to be the first player to get rid of all your chairs. I think this one was my favorite way to play! Each player gets the same number of chairs. If the stack falls on your turn, you have to TAKE each of the fallen chairs and add it to your pile. The game continues until one player runs out of chairs!

VERDICT: A classic, definitely my favorite of the three! I like that the whole family can play this game, with no one feeling left out. There is no advantage to the younger or older players, everyone has to be just as careful as everyone else!

Fundex games has so many more games, I could never tell you about all of them! There really is something for everyone! I will show you guys a few more of my favorites!

Some Sweet Little Winners!

Do you guys know the reason I am always late announcing the winners? It's because, my dears, IF I announced the winners on time, you would all think that I was abducted and that someone had hijacked my blog. You all know I can NEVER post the winners in a timely fashion, it is just not me!

So, anyways, here are a few winners for you!

(I have decided to stop posting the screen shot from random.org with the winning number on it, for now anyways. It just takes too long, and I usually only get to blog in fifteen minute increments at a time! I will still save them all on my computer so if there is an issue, I can post them!)

The Winner of the Tonka Truck from Funrise Toys is:
#80, Ericka!

The winner of the Complete Idiot's Guide to Family Destinations Book is:

#13, Shari

And, last but not least, the winner of the Milo's Kitchen Dog Treats:

#19, Ashley!

Congrats to all my lovely winners! You should have emails waiting for you on how to claim your prize! More giveaways ending soon, so enter, if you haven't yet!

Bright Starts Grab 'N Stack Blocks Review!

Bright Starts has been one of my favorite baby brands for about five years now.. Ever since Tater was born, I was drawn to their colorful, quality, adorable baby products. I have always loved them as a brand, and I was super excited when I recently got the chance to work with them!
I received the super cute Grab 'N Stack Blocks for review! I knew these would be perfect for Bean! He has recently taken to trying to stack up Tater's wooden blocks, only to be bored within minutes and decide to hurl wooden blocks at the heads of anyone near by!! So, I knew at least with the Grab 'N Stack Blocks, I would be safer!

Look at this cute little baby playin' with the Grab 'N Stack Blocks! No, this is not my Bean, he would probably be screaming if he was in this picture!

He really liked these blocks! I liked the fact that there were four of them. Enough to stack and play with, but not enough that there are blocks everywhere so you can't even walk.. (Tater and is 599 piece army man set, anyone?)

Bean really liked them because they made noise. They all have different textures and make different rattling, crinkly, noises. He was really cute trying to figure out what in the hell was making the sounds!

Each block has a different number, letter, and animal on it, so he can actually learn when he's playing with them, when he gets a little bigger, of course. I also like how affordable these blocks are! Only $10.99 on the Bright Starts Website!

You can't beat that!

Bright Starts has so many other great baby items, I just can't finish this review without showing you a few of my favorites:

Cute!!! I know right!

How about another?

Awww! Ok, ok, just one more!

Sigh. Love it. Okay, you are free to go! A big thanks to Bright Starts for providing me with this review product and giving me a chance to drool at my favorite baby stuff!

Hasbro Toys Takes Away Our Summer Blues! (Plus GIVEAWAY!)

Well, it's that time again. I know you mommies know what I'm talking about. I LOVE Summer, really I do... I love spending time with Tater before he goes back to school, especially since I will barely see him once school starts back, now that I am working nights.

But....

Oh My God, Summer is so damn long! We have long ago worn out all the fun things we had to do: sprinkler, sandbox, pool, park, playing in the yard, trampoline, walks, etc... It's all old news now. I can tell that both of my boys, even the little one, are super bored and in dire need of entertainment.

Well, the sweeties at Hasbro Toys must have read my mind, because on the crappiest, rainiest day of the Summer, a gigantic box showed up on my porch. Little did I know that inside it, would be our Summer saving grace!

Opening that box was the most fun I have seen my boys have all summer long!

The first thing they pulled out, I must say, has been there absolute favorite!

This is the Chuck & Friends Fold 'N Go Tumble Tower Play Set! It is recommended for ages 18 months and up. I really was unsure about how much the boys would like this, since Bean is only one and Tater is 5, but let me just say WOW! They haven't put this toy down in like a week! Really, one of them always has it!

This toy is made to be used with the smaller Chuck & Friends trucks, which was perfect for Bean because he got the whole set for Christmas last year! Even if you don't have the smaller trucks, don't worry because it comes with one vehicle!

The Fold 'N Go Tumble Tower Playset is really cute!

Here's the product description from the website:

"Rev up your engine for tons of tumbling fun! Set your CHUCK THE DUMP TRUCK vehicle at the top of this tower to watch him tumble down the moving ramp and come speeding out the side. Then, put him on the lift to send him up to the top to do it all over again! When you and your vehicle pal really want to put your “driving skills” to the test, send him down the ramp to do his flipping ramp stunt. When playtime’s over, park your CHUCK THE DUMP TRUCK vehicle inside the playset and fold it up, so you’re all set for on-the-go stunt fun!"

This is what the playset looks like when it is unfolded. My boys really loved making Chuck do his "flipping ramp stunt"! I love the Chuck & Friends Toys anyway, they are easy for my little guy to hold onto, and he can actually "drive" them since they are big enough for his fat little hands to hold. This set comes with the two AA batteries that it needs (THANK YOU FOR THAT HASBRO!) I would also like to say thanks to Hasbro for making this toy take AA batteries that we always have laying around, instead of like D's or C's or something that I would have to make a special trip out to get. But my absolute favorite part of this playset:

Look how tiny it folds up!! We have absolutely NO space around here, and any toy that doesn't take up tons of space is a friend of mine! I couldn't believe that it fit in the tiny space in between their bookshelf and the wall! Thanks again Hasbro!

I actually had to remind the boys that there were more things in the box from Hasbro,  since they were obsessed with Chuck!

But, when my little Bean actually got the chance to play with the PLAYSKOOL Wheel Pals Animal Tracks Splash 'n Bath Playset, he was thrilled! You see, my little Bean HATES a bath. I am not sure why, but he always has... So anything to take his mind off the actual act of taking a bath, is a winner!

This little toy is so cute!

Here's it's description:

"When this WHEEL PALS hippo vehicle is ready to “wash up,” nothing will stop him! Your child can set the vehicle up at the end of this river-themed playset and then lift the launcher to start him racing. As the hippo zips up and down the hill, he takes a “bath” in the “waterfall”! The fun just keeps rolling every time your child lifts the launcher!"
I'm telling you, I have never heard my little Beanie laugh so hard as he does  when he is playing with this toy! I think he just likes seeing the little car/hippo guy racing across the track. He will start giggling and won't quit! This toy has really helped our bathtime troubles. He also really likes playing with the little car/hippo guy all by itself or with the Chuck & Friends toy...(What can I say, my kids are multi-taskers lol!)

But, mommy's favorite product from Hasbro will always be Play-Doh. I just love Play-Doh. It is one toy that hasn't changed a bit since I was a kid, and playing Play-Doh with the boys makes me feel like a kid again! But, I must say, Play-Doh playsets sure have come a long way since I was a kid! Wait until you see the awesome Play-Doh sets Hasbro was kind enough to send us!

This is the Play-Doh Flip 'N Serve Breakfast Playset! I love it! Look at all the great stuff you get with this one:
We have had so much fun with this playset! Tater was thrilled that you can use it to make a smoothie, his most favorite thing in the world! My favorite parts were "making eggs" and "waffles"! I really love toys like Play-Doh SO much because it really allows my kids to be creative. I love seeing what they will come up with next, you just never know!

Here's a little more info about the Play-Doh Flip 'N Serve Breakfast Playset:

"Whip up some delicious fun with this breakfast set! Use the molds and “griddle” to create scrumptious looking “eggs”, “pancakes” and much more out of PLAY-DOH modeling compound. Then, use the waffle griddle to press out a picture-perfect “waffle”. Would you like a “banana” or a “croissant” to go with your “French toast” or “hash browns”? But of course! A knife, spatula and fork even let you “serve up” your creations. When you’re done “cooking”, just put everything back inside the container to keep it all safe and sound for your next imaginative “breakfast” or “brunch”!"

We were also lucky enough to receive another Play-Doh Playset! We got the Sesame Street Cookie Monster's Letter Lunch Playset and it is adorable!

Here's what it's all about:

Learning is fun with PLAY-DOH compound and Sesame Street. This playset helps children learn their ABCs. They can shape letters to spell out their names and other words! Kids can even make a pretend alphabet soup and “feed” it to Cookie Monster for “lunch!” Includes 4 cans of PLAY-DOH compound.
Set includes Cookie Monster character playset with bowl, lid, knife, spoon, fork, roller, more than 45 molds, presser tool, playmat and 4 two-ounce cans of PLAY-DOH modeling compound.

All I can say about this one is, it was PERFECT! It says it is for ages 3 and up, and my Tater just turned 5, so I was afraid this might be a bit babyish for him... But, it is perfect! He is just now learning to spell words and work on reading, and he  spent a good hour and a half making letters and spelling words! I am always loving any toy that helps my kids to learn while they are having fun! And if they don't even realize they are learning, that's even better! This was absolutely the perfect toy for my big guy!

I would like to say a big thank you to the folks at Hasbro Toys! You guys knew just what we needed to end our "end of Summer" blues! My boys now have a bunch of new toys in their arsenal, and *hopefully* we will stay entertained until it's time for school!

Now, it's your turn! Hasbro is giving away a prize pack with the same four toys that I reviewed to a lucky Flip Out Mama reader! Yay!!!
